Music in Peebles has been bringing great music and outstanding musicians to the Scottish Borders for over sixty years.

Annual General Meeting Our Annual General meeting will take place at 7.30pm on Tuesday 29th May in the Studio, Eastgate Theatre & Arts Centre, Peebles. All members are invited - there will be a short piano recital, a review of the last year, the chance to ask questions about the running of the club, and a social event with refreshments and snacks. We will also be announcing details of our 2012/13 season. Be among the first to find out about the exciting concerts over the coming year!
The 2011/12 Season of Music in Peebles has now ended. Thank you to all our members and audiences for your tremendous support for our concerts, and we look forward to seeing you all again next season! Our 2012/13 Season begins on Wednesday, 17th October 2012 with a special gala concert to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of one of the greatest string quartets around - the world-famous BRODSKY QUARTET. Full details of all concerts, membership and ticket prices will be added to this website in June. In the meantime, look out for details of our legendary Strawberry Tea and Tombola, which this year will be in the Burgh Hall on Saturday, 7th July. Make a note in your diary so you don't miss it!
WHAT'S NEW Gina McCormack & Nigel Clayton gave one of our most memorable concerts last season. You can hear them again in the magnificent setting of Mellerstain House on Thursday 24th May 2012.
THE FRIENDS OF THE EASTGATE THEATRE NEED YOU! We are extremely fortunate in Peebles to have such a wonderful venue for our concerts as the Eastgate Theatre and Arts Centre. As regular members of the audience, there's a danger that we all take it for granted, but visiting artists regularly comment on the quality of the Theatre, the professionalism and helpfulness of the staff and the pleasure of performing in the Eastgate. However, the Eastgate cannot survive on praise and grants alone! This is where the Friends of the Eastgate Theatre step in. The Eastgate relies enormously on the support of its Friends to fund various activities and items for the Theatre. In return, Friends receive a variety of great benefits, including discounts on tickets for selected shows and at the café-bar. As a lover of live music, whether or not you are a member of Music in Peebles, please do consider joining the Friends of the Eastgate Theatre.
