The vibrant young Scottish duo 'Hoot' made their debut performance at the Edinburgh Festival 2006 with Mozart's Concerto for Flute and Harp. Since then, they have been delighting audiences across the UK with their charismatic stage presence and eclectic repertoire, bringing together classical, contemporary and traditional music.

Emma and Helen are much in demand and have appeared with all Scotland's major orchestras as well as with Belle & Sebastian and Texas. Their debut album, 'The Garden of Adonis', was launched at the 2010 Edinburgh International Harp Festival.

Their concert in Peebles promises to be a thrilling occasion for all, offering consummate musicianship and the full varied range of Hoot's repertoire.

The Kiss That Missed

Hoot bring their original, exciting and fun-filled take on 'Musical Storytime' to Peebles!

Based on the children's favourite, 'The Kiss that Missed', by David Melling, Emma and Helen battle the scary beasts, outrun the fiery dragon and retrieve that kiss using the power of their voices, musical games and lots of help from the children!

This unique event is sure to delight all children, especially those between the ages of 4 and 7.
