Approximately three-quarters of the income of Music in Peebles is generated by the club itself, most of it through membership subscriptions and ticket sales, supplemented by fund-raising activities. Below are some of the other main sources of income.

EMS logo Music in Peebles is affiliated to Enterprise Music Scotland (EMS), which helps to facilitate access for all to live music across the whole Scottish community.

We gratefully acknowledge the financial subsidy we receive annually from EMS, supported by The National Lottery through Creative Scotland (formerly the Scottish Arts Council).

SBC logo We are grateful for financial support we have received from Scottish Borders Council. In particular, an award from the Council's Community Grants Scheme helped to finance refurbishment work on the Club's Steinway grand piano in October 2011 to ensure it delivers optimum performance.

In furtherance of our aim to make music accessible to all, we also obtained a grant from the Peebles Common Good Fund to support performances in a local care home in Spring 2015.

Music in Peebles is especially grateful to the many individuals who have made donations, in cash or kind, in support of the Club's activities.

From 2015/16, until further notice, all cash donations will be added to the club's Piano Fund, which we plan to build up in readiness for the time when our current piano has to be replaced. As a Registered Scottish Charity (SC006906), we are able to reclaim tax on Gift-Aided cash donations, increasing their value by 25%.
