The operations of Music in Peebles are governed by a Constitution, which sets out our objectives and governance framework. The Constitution may be viewed or downloaded here*.

Music in Peebles is run by a volunteer Committee, for which elections are held annually at the club’s Annual General Meeting. The 2018 AGM was held in the Anne Younger Studio of the Eastgate Theatre at 7.30pm on Tuesday 8th May and the following members were elected to serve on the Committee for 2018/19:

Other specific roles will be allocated to members of the Committee during the year.

Being a member of the Committee of Music in Peebles gives the opportunity to contribute to the cultural life of the Burgh. OSCR logo Music in Peebles first registered as a charity in 1981 as Scottish Charity number SC006906. In 2019 it became a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) with the Scottish Charity number SC048944.

Each year, accounts and a Trustees' Annual Report are submitted to the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR).
