The concert for Music in Peebles by Gina McCormack and Nigel Clayton in January 2012 was a highlight of the 2011/12 season, with outstanding performances of Violin Sonatas by Bach, Brahms (his first), Debussy and Saint-Saens; the last of these was given the highest rating of any performance in our entire season.

In this concert, presented by Borders Music and Arts Society, Gina and Nigel will be playing a very attractive programme that includes the other two Brahms Sonatas. The occasion will be further enhanced by the magnificent surroundings of the Music Room in Mellerstain House, with its beautifully painted ceiling, ornate plasterwork and marvellous oil paintings.
